• When the nozzle is close to the surface of the print sheet, there will be a red light that comes out from the nozzle. Here is an image for your reference:

How to test the probe sensor:

The probe sensor is a metallic one, so you can test it with a palette knife.

• Start an auto-calibration process via the touchscreen
• Printing module will back to its home position and then move down.
• Put a palette knife to test it as shown in the attached video: https://youtu.be/Z47V802sSnc
• If the probe sensor works, the printing module will stop moving.

• Case 3:
• Users need to adjust the probe sensor.
• Please check if you have assembled the platform correctly. Here is an image for your reference.

• What you need to know:

The height difference between the nozzle tip and the probe sensor tip is crucial. Please adjust the height difference to about 1 mm and then tighten the screws of the probe sensor.

How to adjust the probe sensor

• First tip
• As for the 1 mm height difference, you can use a piece of the credit card as the standard.
• Please be noted that the way you assemble the printing module is different from how the quick guide teaches you. You can only do this when you adjust the probe sensor.

• Follow the steps below
• Power off the machine and assemble the module in place as shown in the following picture. Assembling the printing lower makes you able to adjust the sensor. Please be noted you cannot assemble it when you print.

• Put a piece of the credit card on the print sheet. Loosen the screw of the probe sensor so that it can be adjusted.

• Move the printing module down until the nozzle tip touches the surface of the print sheet.

• Put the credit card under the sensor so that it is approximately 1 mm higher than where the nozzle is.

• Adjust the height difference and make sure the values of it is about 1 mm, and then tighten the screw.
• Please assemble the printing module correctly and re-do the calibration process.

• Do the calibrations process by using the touchscreen.
• Please do not cut off the connection between the machine and the PC during the calibration process.
