How can I make sure I don’t miss the campaign launch?

Click the “Notify me on launch” button on our Kickstarter pre-launch page. You will receive an instant email notification from Kickstarter as soon as the campaign goes live. This gives you a better chance to secure the early bird reward tier, which offers the lowest price and is available in limited quantities.

I have already placed a deposit. Do I still need to click “Notify me on launch”?

Yes, we strongly recommend that you still click the “Notify me on launch” button and subscribe to our newsletter. This ensures that you receive real-time notifications when the campaign goes live. Being among the first to access the campaign increases your chances of getting the early bird pricing, which is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Does paying a deposit guarantee my Early Bird slot?

No, paying a deposit does not guarantee an Early Bird slot because these slots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. However, there will be thousands of Early Bird slots available, giving you a very good chance to secure one.

Approximately 10 minutes before the campaign officially starts, we will send a Kickstarter link to those who have paid a deposit. This early access allows you to review product details, reviews, pledge options, and shipping information in advance. It helps you make an informed decision and be ready to purchase the U1 immediately when the campaign goes live.

Important: Please make sure you have registered a Kickstarter account using the same email address you used to pay your deposit. If you do not have a Kickstarter account, clicking the U1 Kickstarter link will redirect you to the general Kickstarter page, which may cause delays and risk missing out on an Early Bird slot.

We recommend placing your order early once the U1 Kickstarter campaign is live to secure the Early Bird deal. After slots sell out, the discount will no longer be available. You can cancel your pledge anytime before the campaign ends.

If you miss the Early Bird but back any other reward tier, you will still qualify for a $100 cashback after your U1 ships.

Can users who paid a deposit get early access to the Kickstarter page?

We have received many requests about this. To accommodate, we will send the Kickstarter page link to users who paid a deposit about 10 minutes before the campaign officially starts. This will allow you to review the product features, reviews, pledge options, and shipping timeline in advance, helping you make an informed purchase decision and enabling you to buy the U1 as soon as it goes live.

When will the Kickstarter campaign start?

The Kickstarter campaign is to launch on August 19, 7:00 AM PDT (4:00 PM CEST).

When will I receive my machine if I back the project?

Shipping will begin after the campaign ends and production is completed. Estimated delivery timelines will be available on the campaign page.

Shipping priority will be based on your Kickstarter backer number and the order in which your deposit was placed.

Our goal is to deliver units within three months after the campaign ends. In particular, we aim to ship the first two batches within this three-month window.

More details about the shipping timeline and policy will be announced when the campaign goes live on Kickstarter.

Is backing on Kickstarter safe?

Will the U1 be available outside Kickstarter later?

Yes, the U1 will be available for regular purchase after the campaign. However, the Kickstarter campaign offers the best deal and earliest access. If you want to get the U1 at the lowest price and be among the first to receive it, backing us on Kickstarter is the best way.

Do I need a Kickstarter account to back the project?

Yes, you’ll need to create a Kickstarter account to back our campaign and select your reward tier. If you’ve already placed a deposit, please use the same email address when backing the project on Kickstarter to ensure your deposit is correctly matched. If that email isn’t registered on Kickstarter yet, we recommend creating an account in advance to speed up the checkout process once the campaign launches.

Please note:

Kickstarter allows one reward tier per account.
Each deposit can be applied to only one pledge.

If you plan to purchase multiple U1 units, you will need to:

Place separate deposits using different email addresses
Create individual Kickstarter accounts using those same emails

What if the email I used for the deposit is not registered on Kickstarter?

No problem. Just create a Kickstarter account in advance using that email address. This will ensure a smoother and faster checkout when the campaign launches.

Can I purchase more than one unit during the Kickstarter campaign?

Kickstarter allows only one reward tier per pledge and one pledge per account.

If you have placed deposits:

You must place separate deposits using different email addresses. Then, create separate Kickstarter accounts with those same emails to make individual pledges. Since each deposit can only be applied to one pledge, to receive the $100 cashback for each unit, you will need to place deposits and pledges one by one.

If you have not placed a deposit:

You can purchase multiple units directly through our bundle pledges available during the campaign.

Please note:

Multiple deposits cannot be combined or applied toward a single multi-unit pledge.
