Supported Materials

SnapDryer supports most 3D printing materials including PLA / PETG / ABS / ASA / TPU / PA / PC / PVA /Breakaway support for PLA. Works great with all common filament sizes, including 1.75mm and 2.85mm.

Note: Snapmaker Printer is compatible only with 1.75mm filament diameters.

Differences between SnapDryer and other dryers

1. SnapDryer is a collaborative brand product with Polymaker & FabNotion, specifically optimized for compatibility with Snapmaker Printers.

2. SnapDryer features detailed improvements such as the addition of a Filament Tube, Filament Entry Cover, Filament Tube Connector, Round Clamp, and Tape Measure. These improvements make it easy and hassle-free for users to adapt to Snapmaker machines.

How long can materials stay dry in the SnapDryer Box?

The SnapDryer Box was designed with excellent sealing and silica gel desiccant to extend your filament storage time. In our internal experiment ( an environment of 20°C and 60% RH), the humidity inside the SnapDryer Box changed by less than 5% in 30 days. In a comparison test, the sealing capability of the SnapDryer Box is ~1.5 times that of a DIY storage box.

What spools can fit inside the SnapDryer?

The maximum capacity of the SnapDryer box is 205 Ф * 78(H) mm. This means all 1kg spools or less from Snapmaker can fit in the SnapDryer and most 1kg spools or less from the other brands can fit in the SnapDryer. For smaller spools, use the internal spool roller for a better experience.

Can I print and dry at the same time with SnapDryer?

Yes, the SnapDryer has a continuous drying mode. Materials can be either pre-dried on the SnapDryer before printing or the SnapDryer can be set to continuous drying mode for drying while printing.

What type of power cord will I receive?

We currently offer power cords that comply with National, UK, European, US, and Japanese standards. The power cord will be provided based on your delivery country. If you have specific requirements, please contact our customer service team at info@snapmaker.com for confirmation before placing your order.

Is the Color Changing Silica Gel Desiccant in the SnapDryer reusable?

Yes, the Color-Changing Silica Gel Desiccant is reusable. When first unpacked and dry, the desiccant appears orange. After absorbing moisture, it changes to dark green.
