You can start laser engraving and cutting by using either the Touchscreen or Luban. In addition, you can use one of the following two methods to position the laser work area:
- Use Camera Capture
- Set Work Origin
At present, the Camera Capture method is only applicable to 3-axis laser engraving and cutting, and can only be used when the machine is connected to Luban via Wi-Fi.
Depending on the operation mode, console, and positioning method you choose, the workflows of the 10W Laser Module will be different. This chapter summarizes five workflows to operate the 10W Laser Module, which is at your choice based on your need.
When the 10W Laser Module is used for the first time, the Guide on the Touchscreen will walk you through the following three calibrations:
- Toolhead Focus Calibration
- Thickness Measurement Calibration
- Camera Calibration
You do not need to repeat these calibrations unless you reinstall the 10W Laser Module or reassemble the machine.
