The Heated Bed won't heat up when you set the target temperature on the Touchscreen or when you start a print.
Possible Causes
- The cable of the Heated Bed is broken.
- The Heated Bed is malfunctioning.
- The Heated Bed port of the Controller is broken.
Actions
1. Check if there is any visible breakage on the cable of the Heated Bed or Heated bed cable welding point.
- If not, please proceed to the next step.
- If yes, please check the breakage location of the Heated Bed cable.
a. If the breakage is in the middle of the cable, the cable or Heated Bed needs to be replaced.
b. If the breakage is near the welding point of the cable, you can try to cut the cable short and solder it according to the pins.
2. If the cable is intact, you can try to get a multimeter to measure the resistance of the cable.
- The resistance between Pin 4 and Pin 1 should be around 2.5Ω.
- The resistance between Pin 3 and Pin 2 should be around 110KΩ.
If the resistance result is abnormal, please check whether the Heated Bed is scratched.
3. If the resistance result is normal, then the problem may occur in the Heated Bed port of the Controller.
