This article applies to the following models and modules. Please pay attention to the details when referring to it:

Models: Snapmaker Original
Modules: Single Extruder

If the filament cannot be squeezed out when you are loading the filament before the print, please follow these steps for troubleshooting:

1. Follow the Quick Start Guide to insert the filament again. Please make sure the end of the filament is cut in a 45°angle and straight the filament as much as you can.

2. Detach the right side cover of the 3D printing module and detach the fan. Please check if the filament got stuck inside the 3D printing module.

3. Please disassemble the 3D printing module and clean the filament stuck inside the 3D printing module according to this tutorial video. 

If the filament can be squeezed out when you are loading the filament, but it doesn’t come out when it’s printing, please follow these steps for troubleshooting:

1. Detach the right side cover of the 3D printing module and detach the fan.

Start a new printing and check if the motor of 3D printing module works properly.

2. If the motor works properly, please re-fix the gear inside the 3D printing module according to the following tutorial video.

3. If the motor doesn’t work or rotate abnormally, please fill in the warranty request and upload a short video which could show the motor problem.
