The Laser Module emits blue laser once the machine is turned on and can’t be turned off.

Possible Causes

• The Toolhead Cable is broken.
• The Laser Module is malfunctioning.
• The port of the Controller is broken.

Actions

1. Turn on the machine, go to Control > Laser Power.

- Toggle ON Laser Status to see if the blue laser light comes out.

- Toggle OFF Laser Status to see if the blue laser light will close.

2. Replace the current Toolhead Cable with one of the interchangeable cables (see picture below). See if this solves the problem. If not, go to step 3.

3. Replace the 3D printing module, and follow step 2 of this article to check if the gear can rotate.

- If the gear can rotate up and down normally, then the laser module is malfunctioning.

- If the gear cannot rotate, then probably the toolhead port of the Controller is broken.

4. Please refer to this article to use the addon-1 port to verify whether the toolhead port of the Controller is broken.
