After you power on the machine, and the touchscreen shows like the below-left picture, the printing head may be not detected by the machine.
There are four possible reasons that cause the issue.
-
The toolhead cable
-
The controller
-
The printing module
-
The linear module
The toolhead cable
The three cables below are interchangeable. Please try to use the Y or Z conversion cable to be the toolhead cable and whether the printing head can be detected.
Use a USB cable to connect the machine to the computer. In the Luban console, input M1999 and then check whether there is a 3DPRINT Module in the second line from the bottom.
The controller
Try to check whether the Laser module and CNC module can be detected. If they cannot be detected either, the controller may be faulty.
The printing module
If the Laser module and CNC module can be detected by the controller, but the printing module cannot be, the printing module itself may be faulty.
Remove all linear modules from the controller when the machine cannot detect any toolhead. After that, please check again whether the printing module, Laser module, and CNC module can be detected.
If they can be detected after removing the linear modules, that means there are one or two more linear modules interfering. Please connect each linear module back to the controller one by one to figure out which linear modules have an issue.
