If the enclosure cannot be recognized by the machine when the machine is running the latest firmware, please follow the below to do the troubleshooting.
1. Please take out of the cable that connects the enclosure and the controller. As you can see in the below picture, there are 4 pins on each end. If you have a multi-meter, can you please use the Buzz mode to test pin1 and A; pin2 and B; pin3 and C; pin4 and D?
If the cable is fine, you can hear the multi-meter making a 'bee' sound.
2. . Please unplug the cable from the enclosure end. That being said, the cable is still connected to the controller. Power on the machine and then please use the voltage mode to test the two big pins. The normal value should be about 24V.
3. The right pin is the GND highlighted in red arrow. Please use the BLACK cable of the multi-meter to touch the GND, and at the same time, use the RED cable of the multi-meter to touch the two small pins (pin1 and pin2) respectively.
The two test results should be about 2.2V respectively.
If the above test results are normal, the issue should exist in the converter in the enclosure.
Please send your test results to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help you further. Thank you
