In the iteration of Snapmaker 2.0 prototype design, after several motor selection & test comparison, a 6,000-12,000 RPM motor was selected due to its more stable performance and higher accuracy, and the test showed that the second-generation design could achieve greater torsion, and the spindle became stronger after using ER11. In terms of comprehensive effect, it can provide faster feedrate and greater depth stepdown, so it can not only meet 90% of the first generation application scenarios, but also provide greater processing efficiency.
Why the spindle speed of Snapmaker 2.0 is lower than the original model?
