Yes, A350 can print with ABS even without the enclosure. All the prints below are printed with ABS on Snapmaker A350 without enclosure.
Questions derived from the original question:
- Can the heated bed of A350 be up to 90-100 ℃？
--Yes, it generally takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
2. How did it not wrap without an enclosure?
--First of all, two common problems with ABS are the warping of the first layer and the cracking of the model due to uneven cooling after printing. These problems are related to the quality of materials and the printing temperature (heated bed and nozzle).
In this case, the quality of the ABS we used is quite good( Brand: Kexcelled), and we set the heated bed temperature to 100, and the nozzle temperature to 230.
3. Do you just mount an A250 print bed to the A350 so that you can print ABS on A350?
--No, we used the heated bed of A350 to print the above prints. The bottom area of the large model is larger than the A250's print bed.
4. I thought that the maximum recommended temperature for a magnetic sheet on a heated bed was 80°?
--The heated bed we used is high temperature resistant. So you don't have to worry about this.
